A photograph of a wild boar hunted with only two legs has revolutionised the social networks. The image shows how the wild boar, probably shot in a hunt – although this has not yet been confirmed by this media – has only two limbs.

In one of the photos, under the right shoulder blade, there is a freshly opened wound, almost certainly caused by the knife of one of the dog catchers taking part in the day’s hunting. According to some internet users, the hunt could have taken place in Ultramort (Gerona).

Another snapshot of the freshly shot animal.

Although the causes of the loss of the two limbs are unknown, it is certain that once again a wild boar demonstrates its great physical strength and endurance over time despite the difficulties that day-to-day life imposes on it.

Nature never ceases to surprise us and last Sunday, 10 February, it did so again in the northern part of the province of Burgos: a wild boar with three legs and thick tusks was shot in a hunt held in the area. Jara y Sedal then got in touch with Rubén de la Morena, who was present accompanying the rehalas on that hunting day.

De la Morena, who is also a veterinary student, told Jara y Sedal how this animal aroused the surprise of all those present at the hunt: “I went with dogs, although the animals are not mine”, explained the young man, who accompanied this rehala made up of griffons, podencos and gripping crosses.
